When I say your/er/ir, it ends up coming out like ar, unless I really concentrate. Examples: Curtain turns into cartain/carton Birthday turns into barthday Nerd turns into nard.
Do you know anyone else that does this, and do you think this is strange? All opinions are welcome:)
You think you have problems Britz?
I am 5th generation from a small country town on the south coast of England.
I have what I term as a 'Local Yokel' accent and I am proud of it.
PS Between just me and you, I cant pronounce the number three properly. It comes out like 'free' and I cant even hear the difference but know there is because of the confusion this sometimes causes.
PPS Dont tell another soul on here, it will just be our secret. OK!

Im from England and my parents are from birmingham and now we live in the countryside so I have a country bumpkin accent with a hint off brummy haha nice sometimes I need an translator, my close friends understand though haha
If it really annoys you, you may want to consult a speech-language pathologist; they may be able to help you with your articulation.

You might want to try sticking your tongue a little bit between your teeth when you say "three".

I meant for it to be 'U' 'R'/er/ir, not your, the automatic edit changes it to your.
You dont talk like that, all I know is that you like to keep on saying certain words
