do I take my pill?

I just missed my period..I am suppost to start my new pack of birth control pills tonight. If I take the pill will it mess with pregnany results if I take the test this week? is tonight too soon to take a home test and I could just go off the pill for this month until I know my results but isnt that bad for your body to go and off the pill?

ARE YOU ON THOSE 3 MONTH PILLS WHERE YOU MISS YOUR PERIOD, IF SO THAT COULD BE WHY, NOT SURE THOUGH YOU SHOULD GET A SECOND OPINION, I THINK YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE THE PILL UNTIL YOU FIND OUT IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR NOT BECAUSE IF YOU DECIDE TO KEEP THE BABY THEN TAKING THE PILL AND BEING PREGNANT CAN BE HARMFUL TO YOU AND THE BABYS HEALTH,
