Do I still have my uti?

A couple of weeks ago I got a prescription from my doctor because I had a uti. I originally went to see her because I was peeing a lot so that’s what she tested me for. It turned out that’s what was causing all the peeing. I finished my pills for that last week and everything was fine. Then starting this morning I’ve been having very bad pains under my belly button - they feel like period cramps except they haven’t gone away. It’s not my period coming because I finished that just a week ago.

Could the infection be back?

I would go back to the doctor. I had those cramp feelings when it ended up being a kidney infection. Your doctor may just need to give you another prescription to be on the pills more but yeah I would go back to the doctor just to make sure and be safe.

if ur sexually active then your partner may have the infection and you may be passing it back and forth, therefore you both may need to be treated.
