Do I rely on the internet too much?
Lately I’ve been feeling like there’s nobody at all that I can talk to because there’s noone I can trust. I feel left out, just in general, like I don’t get attention. But I dont want to just be really bold and demand attention, because then people will talk and I’ll get a rep as a b*tch or something. So I’ve started staying up till like 3am on chatrooms talking to people on the other side of the world that I dont know, because I feel like I get attention from them, and theres no way that they could ever leak my secrets to my friends here. I then have to wake up at 6 everyday. How can I stop this? I’ve tried, really, but I feel like the only thing keeping me from depression are my online buddies.
there’s nothing wrong with having online friends, but you’re going to have to interact with people in life (unless you decide to work with computers) so you may want to try talking to more people irl…
One solution to the being left out is try and seek one on one attention? just try and talk to people who are by themselves… Usually if you feel left out, there are others too… talk to them…
Also, the people who are getting attention, do people think they’re a B*? so why would they think that of you?
no, you don’t. and you don’t have to stop ‘because that’s your way out of the boring people who don’t care u. there’s nothing wrong with having online friends and talking to them. But you should get enough sleep. Remember, online friends are fine.
yah!! I think you are right.. I too feel ther’s noone I can talk to except my online friends,at least the can advice me and we chat and have fun with no hard feelings… and the don’t know me and vice-vircer so am very free with expressing my self with my online friends.but always sleep I think I agree with chel online friends are fine!!!
