Hi, I’m assuming you mean diuretics?

A diuretic is any drug that elevates the rate of urination and expel water from the body. Sometimes people take them thinking they are helping them lose weight, when all that is happening is they are losing water and becoming dehydrated. They can be dangerous in that they can cause severe dehydration if taken incorrectly, and also can damage the liver if taken for long amounts of time. I wouldn’t recommend taking it without a doctor’s order and supervision.
