I know the M stands for mature but is one more mature than the other? I don't understand American rating systems :L

as far as i know american movie ratings go like this: G -> all ages PG -> Parent guidance PG 13 -> parent guidance for children under 13 R -> Under 17 must be accompanied by Adult NC 17 -> Strictly adults only
While the TV ones have a wider range, MA in this case is specific to TV series which mean" Mature Audience" TV ratings are content specific, a TV series may have one episode be PG rating while the next episode may be MA (just an example)
