Delete inactive profiles

Well Dont You Think That All The Profiles That Are Like Years Old Should Be Deleted? Like The Ones That Havent Logged On In Years?I Mean What Are The Chances Of Them Logging On Again?There Just taking Up Space.

Yea, true. But some of those profiles still may have some good advice on them.

I agree, if they haven been on here in years, they should be deleted, more likely their never comin back…I agree they should be deleted

  Another advantage to keeping the inactive profiles is that when you view an old Question or Answer you are able to click on the author and view their profile which may give you a little insight on where they might be coming from when giving their advice/opinion.

Interestingly enough, we had a member come back a few days ago that hadn’t been on the site in 2 years, upload a photo, and ask another question.

We do delete members with bad data…however, if we removed all the inactive profiles, then people who come back after a set period of time would have to sign up again, which would annoy them, I think, and make them less likely to use the site a second time.
