Defragmenting my Computer

Cookies and History are part of your browser (IE7, Opera, Firefox, etc), not your Operating System (XP, Vista, etc).

With IE7, open IE7 (launch your browser) click the button, then then pick what you want to delete, or delete the whole list with the button on the bottom. (I usually delete just the files, and manage my cookies through an antispyware program like Spybot, because I want to keep some of the cookies.) Hope this helps. Good Luck!!

p.s. You should have antivirus, antispyware, and a TWO-WAY firewall at the very minimum. You can get good free versions of all three, but the antivirus is best if running full time, and I think that takes a commercial product. (Norton does the job, but it bogs down your system. I use NOD32.)

go to start > accessories > system tools > disk cleanup when its done loading check the ones that have things in them, as in if it just says 0kb then just leave it unchecked and click ok and it will empty them

for desfragmenting you do the same you go to system rools and there you will see it, so just run it and click start

to erase cookies and history from your browser well it depends which one you use if its firefox then go to tools > options > privacy then in private data click settings and then check all the things you want to erase, click ok, then click clear now

well even if you have windows vista, you do know where is start, there should be accessories, just look for it
