what type of research are they doing for canine trachael collapse.
It looks like Penn State and the AKC have some research going. As there is currently treatment for this condition, support rings placed around the trachea with an 85% cure rate, there is probably not enough research being done. I am sorry about the loss of your dog.
thanks utopia , this is a critical disease if it involves the lower bronchi there is nothing they can do. except maybe try medicine. but my little one was not a candidate her oxygen was falling to a level that was beyond life. they are also stenting but once again it has to be only the upper involvement. thanks for your compassion. I am at such a loss. she was such an angel to me, I loved her so. god now has her. diane
