Why does my dad cough alot?

sounds like what my dad used to do, have to do. he was a smoker of 40 a day. but it doesnt matter the ammount hes smoking cus the smoking could have got him some complications

He needs to see a doctor, his symptoms could range from a simple medication problems (such as if he is taking a blood pressure medication (often something called perindopril or ramipril (or anything ending in -il), to an infection or even lung cancer) either way I’m sure his doctor could help! After all it’s what they are there for!

If he smokes, then it`s probably all the tar that builds up on his lungs after a while which may cause the coughing

sounds like he has smoker’s cough. the smoking destroyed his trachea. hes guna cough because he needs to get the sh*t outta his lungs and trachea. he has to get the mucus out. he probably is coughing so hard he makes him self throw up

he has destroyed the cilia that helps remove dust nd dirt from the trachea and the mucus catches it all while the cilia sweeps it out. smoking destroyed the cilia thats why he has to cough. happens to 95% of all smokers.
