I've been home sick since Monday and I really want/need to go to school tommorow. Every night I've been coughing my throat raw--coughing in my sleep so much that when I wake up it feels like it's burning, and tea/cough drops don't help. What can I do to keep this from happenening again tonight?
Ginger helps soothe the throat and then you need to keep your chest warm with a scarf or something. Also try not to sleep lying down, but rather with a bunch of pillows propped up behind you, that should lessen the cough.
I know lemonade help's make you're throat stop hurting..warm pineapple juice as gross as it sounds is good for sore throats too.. Hope this helps :)
put vix around your neck and tie a scarf around it and drink warm tea with honey in it
