Im not sure what goes on over there reguarding criminal records but here in Australia your criminal record cant be used agaist you regarding a job ect after 12yrs from when you were convicted. Your record isnt wiped it just cant be used against you if your applying for a job ect, unless your in trouble for the same thing again. USA have some fairly unfair rules regarding the legal system as far as im concerned.
may as well answer this one as well- i agree with lela- a criminal record is there for a reason- to assist in tracking criminals. i believe if your crimes were committed as a minor that your record will be sealed at the age of 18- and not be a part of the public record. your adult criminal record stays.
If you're talking about a criminal record then I'm sorry to tell you that it stayes. You can't pay to get it cleared. At least not that I know of.
