Copying game data onto new pc

hi my friend has bought a laptop today and it has Sims Life built into it. So being a bit cheap =) I would like to install the data onto my comp. Was wondering if anyone with some tech knowledge can assist me in transfering the program data or tell me if its even possible.

Hi,

It wouldn’t work unless your friend had the installation file on her computer, and even then you’d have to find a way to transfer it. It is probably easier to just buy the game discs used on eBay or half.com.

you will need to know how to use reg edit. and make a file from the game’s register…its a bit annoying really, try searching on google a bit to find a thorough guide
