How do you convince a father to let you date his daughter?

Be very respectful towards him, and show him you’re mature & that you’re a gentlemen. Prove to him that you will treat his daughter good & try bonding with the father and have him get to know you. If you done all that and he still doesn’t let you date his daughter then it’s up to the girl you want to date to see if she’s going to make her own decision or still live up to her parents rules. I say she should date whoever she wants.

If you really like the girl, just have patience, patience, and more patience. Show good character and everything else will fall in place.

To be gentlemany and show the father you geniunely care. Typically, with courting it was tradition to in a way “ask for his blessing”. As in maybe drop by just to ask the girl out instead of arranging to meet her shows responsibility and try and connect with the father. Assure him you care for her and won’t hurt her.

You just need to show him that you are serious ,respectful of his wishes and his daughters, the princess he no doubt would give his life for…and always be a natural gentleman (when in his company) .
