What are the chances of getting pregnant?

I’ve only recently started having sex, it was about 3 weeks ago, and im just terrified I’ll get pregnant, im 16 and everyone keeps going on about how I have to make sure I dont ruin my life by getting pregnant. everytime me and my boyfriend have had sex we have used a condom, but im still terrified that I could get pregnant, what are my chances?? what can I do?? I dont want to go on the pill, I know im likley to forget to take it and that wud scare me even more with nothing ‘physical’ if you get what I mean as a prevention. please help!

Well there are other hormonal contraceptions, like the depo shot, or the patch, if you use a hormonal form as well as a condom, you can relax, odds are pretty low

Also remember that there are a lot more birth control methods for you to look into. Also once you get into the habit of drinking the pill - which is easy if you set an alarm for it you basically never forget.

if youre worried about forgetting the pill, talk to your doctor about getting the birth control shot. personally, I think birth control is great, because it not only helps with pregnancy prevention, but it also lightens/regulates your periods, and helps your hormones balance out-which could help your growth and developement.

Using a condom is a pretty good way to stay protected, but it’s not 100% effective.

Unfortunately, the only true method to prevent pregnancy is to abstain.

I’ve been on yaz bc for almost 2 years until last month and on antibiotics for the last month(lymph node removal) so me and my hubby are ttc and had unprotected sex like all but 3 days of ovulation including the day of I was saposto start my period 3 days ago nothing, neg hpt but im really bloated and keep getting nauseous and fatigue I dont remember my symptoms I had with my son. can someone give me advice and/or their openion. thanks
