Condoms and pullin out

How safe is it to wear a condom and pull out also? kinda a dumb question but just curious on how safe that is?…and when I mean safe im talking about chances of getting some one pregnant

Answer #1

Using both at the same time? What do you mean? Yea you put the condom on, do the deed, then take it out when you are done…that’s what you have to do…?

Answer #2

sorry what I ment to say was using both at the same time…wearing a condom and pulling out while whereing a condom

If you are wearing a condom the whole time you have sex and it doesn’t break or come off it is about 99% effective (I think) against pregnancy. If you do not wear a condom and rely on pulling out in time this is risky. Especially as there can be some sperm in pre-cum (the bit of fluid that comes out before you actually cum). Also, pulling out does not protect you against sexually transmitted diseases, some of which have no symptoms so you don’t know you have one and risk passing it on.

Hmmm. To me there would be no great increase in the % of chance to prevent pregnancy. Though, there would be a slight increase in my opinion. It’s great that you are using a condom and practicing safe sex. Also Its not foolish or anything to ensure that you are not accidentally ejaculating through a broken condom or one that slipped off when you got carried away. I would suggest that if you are looking for a safer sex practice to add to condom use. Consider other options such as spermicidal lubricants, dams and others that could be used at the same time as a condom safely. Even making an appointment at your local planned parenthood to get some great info and free condoms and lube and such.

it’s refreshing to see someone who is activly thinking of respoinsible ways to indulge in sexual activity…well done! and I mean that!

if you’re using a condom, as long as it’s in date, been put on properly and if any lubrication has been used it’s only a water based one, then the condom it self should be quite safe. if you pull out in addition, then as long as the condom hasn’t come off, then you should be safe. just practice putting a condom on and taking it off once it’s been ‘used’ to get into the flow of doing it safely.

don’t forget most condoms have an anti-spermacide in them as well, so they are very safe. but well done, your girlfriend is very lucky to have someone so thoughtful!

I agree wit sooica. It’s nice to see someone that is actually thinking for themselves for a change.

A condom is 98% effective when used correctly and if you pull out in addition to that you won’t have a chance of making your girlfriend pregnant. Even though, the pull-out method by itself isn’t a birth control method, if you wear a condom and it happens to break and you pull out, the spermicide on the condom will kill the small amount of sperm in your pre-cum.
