If I change computers will my iTunes songs still be there?

I’m getting a new computer soon. I have never done this before so I NEED HELP!!! I have over 600 songs on iTunes, how do I transfer them to my new computer? Do I have to? I’m pretty much lost. (I have a compaq and i will be getting an hp, and im talking about a desktop pc. NOT laptop).

Answer #1

You could put them all onto a CD and then put the contents of the CD onto the new computer’s iTunes…but that’s the only way I can think of for you to keep your songs. They won’t be there if you get a new computer– I learned that the hard way, lol.

Answer #2

Change computer, then sync your iPhone/iPod device into your new one. Simples :)

FAIL! at me writing it twice. Silly FunAdvice -.-

It won’t put the songs on to the computer though. For me it just said “OH THIS PHONE WAS SYNCED WITH A DIFFERENT LIBRARY BLAH BLAH BLAH WANNA REPLACE THE MUSIC?!” and I was like…darn.

If the songs are on the device then you can sync it in another computer if not then I have no idea lol

Answer #7

I know there’s a cord you can get to connect the two computers together and transfer stuff to the new one, I would go to a electronic store and ask them about this cord
