Ok so I really want a cell phone and I’ve been pestering my mom about it for a really long time–probably not the greatest thing to do but I cant help it!!! All my friends have them and are always textin and takin pics and I just sit there and stare at the wall!!! My birthday is in like 11 days and I still havent convinced her. She says that she doesnt believe in 13 year olds having cell phones because “they dont serve a purpose and they drive me crazy!!!”. I told her these reasons: -easy contact -good for emergencies -good for road trips -I would stop bothering her But she says that she worries she will never see me again if I get one because id be textin nonstop. But thats not true. I would still try to spend time with her and have my own time, too. Please help asap!! thanks so much!!

Tell her to start with only a limited amount of testing then get more as she believes it’s not taking over your life
tell her if she doesnt give you unlimited texts then you can only do 250 a month and that you will be trying to save them up so you wont text very much and that you wont talk on the phone a lot.
