Why does my cellphone say that it's charging but after an hr the battery is the same?

The charger is brand new and worked a week ago, but just as of last night it will say charging but never actually charge. I’ve tried new outlets and takin the battery out an putting it back In and charging it while it was off.

might be an issue with the charger or the battery!

How long have you had the phone for & have you considered taking it to your providers to be checked out?

It may be the phone, battery, or even your new charger. I suggest you take it to the shop and get them too look at it as the problem could be anything.
