because they make them with 3 fingers!!! but not all of them have 3 fingers…lol!!!=]
because it is easier to draw 3 fingers than it is to draw 4… and to be honest, you don’t need all 4 fingers to convey everything you need to convey in an animation. If you look, a lot of the time they have 4 fingers, 2 of the fingers are stuck together making it actually 3 fingers.
