Can you overcharge an iPod?

I accidentally left my iPod chargin 4 bout 3 days straight and now it wont turn on. is it completely broken?

Answer #1

I don’t think leaving it plugged in and “charging” would ruin it - in theory, as soon as the battery is fully charged it should stop charging and just run off the mains. You can “reset” your iPod and see if that helps it - look on the Apple.com website for the troubleshooting guide for your model.
