can you get an infection from being fingered?

hi. two days ago my boyfriend fingered me, and the next day I noticed that I was really itchy around my clit and vagina. then today I went to the bathroom and I saw that I had yellow discharge on my underwear. I’m really confused because he’s fingered me before and nothing ever happened. could I have contracted some kind of infection from being fingered?

make sure tht whenever your boyfriend does this his hands are always clean because that can cause infection or irritation. if the problem gets worse i would go to the docter.
