can you block a phone number?

There is this guy that I dont even know, who has bee harassing me since september. we started talking one day and since I wouldnt send him a naked picture he kept threatening me. now he wont stop texting me. I did make the mistake to send him a picture of me in my bra and underwear and he has posted it on a website. I just simply want to know if theres such a thing as blocking a number from being able to contact you through verizon???

Yes, you can block a number with verizon. Sad enough I had to do it before. Another thing, you need to watch who you give your number too. There are a lot of “creepers” out in this world:/
