Can I get pregnant from sex on my period?

about 4 days ago I had sex with my boyfriend and I was on a period only problem is is that the condom broke I was just wondering if you can get pregnant from this or not ?

Yes, it is possible that you become pregnant. However, you should continue having safe sex and wait until your next period before jumping to the conclusion that you are. If your period is late then take a pregnancy test.

Of course you can! Take a test imediately and depending on how long ago it is you could try the morning after pill which, despite it’s name, can be take with in three days of sex. You should maybe try going on the contraceptive pill. If you want to do this then go to your GP and ask about it and they will give you all the details you need to know. Hope this helped x

zorbot is correct, but it is not common. For the future, get hold of EC (emergency contraception) and keep it around. It works by preventing the release of an egg from your ovaries. If taken within 72 hrs of intercourse, it is about 75% effective in preventing pregnancy, even more if taken sooner. Do not store the EC pill(s) (nor your daily contraceptive pills) where they will get hot as that will make them less effective.
