Can I dye my hair extensions?

I have bought some hair extensions, and now they are a little light for all over colour. Can I buy a darker colour, and some how put both in my hair to give me a highlighted look as they will not refund my money. thanks

it really depends what kind you have. it’s safe to perm, dye, and relax hair extensions ONLY IF the extensions are made out of hair that all came from ONE person(aka “virgin hair.”)

some hair extensions are made from 100% human hair BUT the hair may come from 3 or four different people. that kind is not safe to dye or perm.

I have the “virgin hair extensions” in my head and I dye it all the time.

mehhh, I have hair extensions, but they have been died to peroxide blonde already.. which is how I bought them, they were origonally dark brown but the hairdresser died them.. I need to die them like a mid blonde colour, 1, will it work and two.. would it be better (because they are clip in) to do like a litttllleee test patch thingie?xx
