Would you buy or recommend a book with the best answers from our site?

I’m not sure I would buy a book, but an online magazine (might be a lot of work) which is emailed to users might be a good idea, I realise there would be a cost involved, but perhaps there could features in such a thing written by the users themselves, much like the how to’s.

With an online magazine it could be updated regularly and focus on specific area’s. It would also be beneficial to oversea’s members of the site.

Certainly would be interesting but not as a book. I would suggest having for each category of questions, having a top 10 or 15 most popular/best answers.

In any event, kudos to you for trying to monetize the responses of all the site’s participants.

Probably not. Being online here gives you the chance to connect with people I’m not sure a book can do. But as Emma suggested maybe a magazine for members, which we can recommend to friends, and can include things like ; Best Question of the week, Funniest questions/ Answers, Most liked Howto’s etc..

I think like Emma said, a magazine would be better, however I would still buy the book. That being said I love books and my opinion might be a little biased.

I’m not sure if I’d buy a book with best answers in it, but I definitely would buy a book from FA if it had some of the best tips in it. I would also buy a book that’s based on How To’s that are mature and helpful for people in their day-to-day lives. You could easily sell books like that.

My reason for not buying a book based on answers is because I find that most situations are different. Each person, for the most case, gets advice that’s based on their individual issue. The tips and how to’s, however, are useful for everyone because they’re general and everyone can try them or apply them to their life.

I would actually buy the book, if only to show my support. Most of the advice given on here does not apply to me but its a hobby.

Good point :) the answers ( unless it’s a factual question ) might be useless to a lot of people but the more objective, factual stuff would be interesting. Thanks.

I wouldnt either…no offense but, I think the whole beauty of this site is to be open & free for all that need help not used as a money maker. If I wanted a book on advice to a certain subject, I would just go to the nearest store to get a book from someone professional rather then get a book off funadvice answers. With all do respect to all, and I have a lot of respect to all, but Answers to questions on here are merely awesome advice according to friends opinions, not professional advice!
