do you burn calories everytime ur heart pumps faster?????
Not necessarily. If you're exercising and your heart rate is up, that means your body is trying to keep up with you and is burning away excess fat. If you're stressed, however, your heart rate will also increase but your body isn't burning anything, in fact it can even gain weight. The only way to burn calories is to eat less calories, to make sure the calories you do eat are healthy and are easily used (ex. proteins, healthy fats and oils, etc) and toexercise daily.
No doubt, to some degree - may be an extremely small amount however - ask your Dr on your next visit....take care !
