Boys Input Needed: Hanging With Ex-Hook Up Partner's Friends?

So this guy and I hooked up and hung out several times, we usually hung out with his two other friends and had a really good time. Well, even though this guy told me he had broken up with his girlfriend, turns out he was still dragging her along by hooking up with her too. Gross, I know. Long story short: I got mad at him and his girlfriend and I are friends now–we compare stories with one another to make sure he is being truthful (which is rare). He is now pretty pissed off at me because I am helping his (ex)girlfriend see the truth about how bad he’s been to her. Anyways, I tried being nice to him and it hasn’t worked, but I still would really like to continue being friends with and hanging out with his two good buddies. Do you think this will be possible if he continues to not be my biggest fan? Or will his friends be so loyal to him that we won’t be able to continue our own friendships? The two other friends have both expressed that they think I’m hot too…haha I know that that can influence guys’ opinions sometimes. Let me know! Thanks as always guys.
