what is a boba?

A boba is used in bubble tea to give it texture. Some people actually call the tea boba, but the boba is the little jelly ball at the bottom. It doesn’t have much of a flavor, and I think it makes the tea look like it has eyeballs. Lol. Nevertheless, it’s just a little ball that you can eat. You can also get gummy fruit strips in bubble tea as an alternative to the bobas.
