my friend sent me a recording. how do I have it to my ringtone ?
When you open the tune see if there are options to ‘set as’ something. If not you could go into your settings, and look in your ring tone settings to see if the file is in there for you to set up.

Go to its location and instead of clicking on it just press the berry (menu key with lots of dots, to the left of the trackball), and a menu will appear. There you will find a “Set as Ringtone” option.

Open the profile switcher icon (usually up on the screen or in applications), go down the list and choose “Advanced”, then choose the profile you intend for that sound of yours and from the menu button choose “Edit”. Choose what to use that sound for (mms, sms, phone). Next step is to change the ringtone option and you can also browse for sounds. Good luck!
