Can I dye over dye?
I’m a African American that had sandy brown hair until I decided I wanted to try something new an color it black with a semi dye. Can I dye it with a permanent color while the semi color is still in? help! I really hate it.
I WUDNT DYE MY HAIR OVER A SEMI PERMANENT DYE because IT TURNS your HAIR A WIERD COLOUR!! I DID IT AN MY HAIR TURNED A MINGIN!!! COLOUR AND I DONT THINK ANYTHIGN WILL DYE OVER SEMI PERNAMENT BLACK DYE! BECAUSE ITS SO DARK X
You can go to a salon and tell them you need a colour wash and they will know what you are talking about. I remember in hairstyling class I got streaks that were way to weird for my hair colour, so my teacher did a colour wash on it and it was back to normal. Try that.
this would depend on how strong your hair is. As you know our hair tends to be very dry and sometimes weak due to all of the heating tools and chemicals. I suggest a vegtable color vs. a chemical, like plum.
It all depends on the time length of when your last dye was. 2 months apart would be good.
