Best friends :@

Okay my best friend is a girl and she is the most important person uin the world to me, but she got a new boyfreind recently, I honestly dont mind, but now she has no time for me we used to talk everynight on the phone,now we dont talk on the phone at all, and we never meet up anymore. I’ve tried to talk to her about it but she just sais” I know and ill sort it out” but then she does nothing. Also she has replaced me with a new best friend, a girl who I really don’t like.

What do I do?

My friend is like this we had an amazing friendship but now its gone down the drain bcoz of her new boyfriend instead of staying inside feeling sorry for my self I go out with them made friends with her boyfriend then after a while its gets better dont worry bout it she will soon realise xx

Just leave her alone for now. They will eventually break up, or the honeymoon phase will end and she’ll realize she needs her friends. Just be supportive. Look at this as an oppurtunity to get to meet other people and do your own thing. Take up an activity. Talk to someone new. She’ll be back soon, and you’ll have a life regardless!

Everyone feels a certain loss when their best friend starts dating someone new and spends all their time with them. This is probably just a phase and she’ll get over it. You need to let your friend know she is hurting your feelings and even though you understand she is excited about her new boyfriend, friends are forever. If things still seem forced or you feel under appreciated, move on. Friendships come and go, but the ones that are meant to last, will.
