belly button piercing illegal in Nj?
im 14 and live in NJ. how old do I have to be to get a belly button piercing without parental consent or a parent signing something or being ther?? I really want to get it done but my parents said no, the thing is once they c I have it they will be fine with me having one. so I really want to get one. I can pass for 16 so would that make me able to get on without a parent being there? also if I go down the shore are they less strict there bout age and everything. I need your help/ideas of what I can do to get one. thanks
you have to be 18 and every state to get a belly piercing or well any piercing without parental consent…every place is very very strict on it and you arent going to find a place that isnt.
In most US places you have to be 18 or older to have any piercing/tattoo done unless you have a parent/legal guardian there to sign forms/give consent. If you parents said no then try to reason with them, maybe they’ll change their mind. If they still say no, you’ll just have to wait until your 18 and can get it done without parental consent.
You have to be 18 to get it done. Any piercer who would pierce a minor is NOT someone you want to go to. If he or she is breaking one law, why wouldn’t they break another? Laws that state you have to use sterile needles, maybe?
