Missing a birth control pill

ok when you forget to take your pill I heard that you immediately ovulate, well my question is do you have to start a new month of pills or can you keep going on the same set? (I am in my 3/4 week of the pills)

All birth control pills are different. I’d read the pamphlet that comes with the pills, and if you’re still confused, ask your doctor.

You need to ask your gynocologist this question. It depends on the type you’re on. Call him/her in the morning. For my pills, I continue with the same pack.

I agree with the person above me that would be the best thing to do since there are so many brands of pills. Normally though you wouldn’t immediately ovulate if you miss a pill you normally follow it with 2 read the package that comes with your pills! They’re very important!!
