basketball makes you taller.. fact or myth?

I was just wondering.. I’ve heard from people that if you play basketball you actually get taller.. is this a fact or just a myth???

sooo not true I play basket and im kinda the same hight you just grow becouse everyone does not because of basketball lol so a myth!!!

That is definitely NOT true lol. My friend is 5 foot and she hasn’t gotten any taller. I’m pretty sure she’ll stay this height since she’s almost 18 and basically done growing. DEFINITELY A MYTH!

I think that’s just a myth,I used to play basketball 5 years ago and I didn’t get taller.

woow this is soo cool I have never heard it before but I definetly thinks its a myth because I am 14 and play basketball and im only 4 feel 8.. soo I def think it is a MYTH
