Okay Im 13 I Baby Sit My Lil Sister(2yrs) Throu 3pm-9pm Mon.-Wedn. And She Still Has Her Nu-Nu (thing that goes in her mouth) I'm Tryinq To Get Her Off Of It ...So Today I Made Her Throw It Way. But When She Wasn't Lookinq I Took It Out And Put It In The Drawer. (I Had To Take It Out ,,Because My Mom Doesn't Want Hurr Off It Because She Whines So Much -But I Want Hurr Off-) I don't know How To Get Hurr Off? well my grand daughter stopped using it right away (3 years old) when some kid at the play ground ask why does she have that in her mouth that is for babies...well after that she didn't want it as it was for babies...get her around kids that don't use one and you will see they will make fun of her and that might stop her.. tell her big girls don't have those only tiny, winy babies have them...keep telling her she is a big girl and big girls get to do big girl things like shop together but if she had that thing with her or in her mouth she is still a baby...
Uhm, excuse me? You want to mother your sister and ignore what your mother wants? Do you think you should be deciding what is right for your sister? You're 13, your mother apparently kept you alive all this time, so she obviously cant have done a horrible job, why are you trying to do something she doesnt want you to do for her child? Would you like it if someone else did that to your child?
TY, you don't have to be such a smart a$$ about that question. Because she's right, she's 2 years old and she's too old to be sucking on it anyway. What do you think when a 12 year old is walking around with his thumb in his mouth? It's gross!
Any way hun about your sis, you should keep her busy with something and soon she won't need it. ready her a story, make her draw,etc...
Did she cry when she had to throw it away? If she didn't then she'll do alright. Just make sure you go ahead and take out the trash. So if she decides that she wants it back then you can tell her the "trash monster" took it to his babies and she's a big girl now. Let her pick something new to replace the pacifer. Good Luck!
the best way I can think of is to take it away and keep her preoccupied with something else so hopefully she will keep her mind off of it and eventually forget about it
