Baby startles

My 9 months old daughter reacts to sound some seconds after it was made. Example: If she hears strange sound, she startles some second after hearing the sound. Is it normal?

yea but most babies like sonds they hear

yes. its pretty nornal. because of the fact that when the soung=d is going on she is to in shock to do or say anything. so she has an after affect.
