What are the average temps or weather for school to be called off?

Idk I live in Florida so it’s sunny year long… Some acceptions of freeze-overs here and there lol but be lucky we never get out of school for wheather only if it’s a hurricane

Wow wish I were thr for the sun, I see nothing but snow and I don’t like it and my kids don’t want to go to school they wanna play in the snow

I think if it’s below 0 degrees, school is closed. Not sure though.

IDK if there is a set temp or amount of snow fall. It basically comes down to if they judge the bus’s can get around all right without endangering any students.

I have went to school in -15 weather, and I have went to school when it snowed 12” over night. I have also had school called when there was only 2” of snow, but was supposed to be a blizzard later that day.

For my school its - 40 and over and its called off but my school IS pretty stern!

Well my school had a two hour delay( Yay! =D) but over here in Ohio we got about 6 to12 inches of snow and it’s about 5 degrees =O I looked on the weather report…not totally sure but that sounds about right…I think…lolz =)

Oops never mind we only have like a few inches of snow…never mind about that sorry =S

U sure cuz here in akron we have 5 inches on the ground and its still snowin :-(

It is a bad thing, just a trace of snow is not good news for me, and I wish I were in florida where it doesn’t snow
