I think I know what it means but I don't want to asssume anything/.
The term "wet behind the ears" originates from being a newborn infant, and still not thoroughly dry..in other words, you're still wet behind the ears. If someone said to you "you aren't wet behind the ears yet", then it was used improperly.
If they said 'You aren't wet behind the ears', they are basically saying you know what you're doing.
Then it was a failed insult, because the person who said it doesn't even know the correct phrase
It mean new to or inexperienced, us old people refer to a lot of the younger crowd like this.
Well above is the definition if you are wet behind the ears, did not see the aren't.
she said " you aren't wet behind the ears yet"
I'm pretty sure it was an insult.lol.
