i really wanna answer this but im not sure what apple tv is
actually not is in’t like dish network at all. how it works it that you have an apple product (iPad, or an apple computer) and you are watching something on it, you can transfer the “feed” to the actual TV. like say you are watching a youtube video, a movie, or a show online, you can put it on a TV with apple tv. it is not monthly, you pay for the product one time and that is it.
