are amino acids ok to consume when weight lifting??

Answer #1

amino acids are the building blocks which make up protein. Kinda a necessity whether you’re weightlifting or not… But especially helpful if you are weightlifting…

Answer #2

Of course… you should be consuming them. They’re the building blocks of all proteins and help to build muscles, enzymes, parts of the skin… they help to heal wounds and cuts aswell.

Answer #3

Amino acids are very essential to weightlifters and bodybuilders. Without them, you will not see much of a result when you workout. Arginine and Lysine provide the body with the ability to dilate the veins to allow nutrients to flow quicker to the muscles. This is found in fruits like pomegranates, and apples. Likewise, the amino acid Creatine Monohydrate is essential for weight lifters to recover quicker and is usually found in beef. Glutamine, the amino acid that replenishes your glycogen levels after a good night’s sleep and even after a workout is needed to give the body fuel to burn fat, and not the muscles.

These are just some of the essentials that you need and can get in any food, unless it’s certain forms such as BCAA’s, where many drink those in powder/pill form.

Answer #4

really isnt gonna make a difference but if u got the money, free form amino acids are ok, but while im workin out i stick to gatorade or just plain water, dont listen to ads on intr workout supplements, they can say whatever they want about it, in the end, it really wont make or break you
