Your not understanding what I’m saying though - it will still be on your skin - and can get into the piercing while the needle is going through.

Also, some shops will NOT pierce you if they find out you used it. Same goes with alcohol or drugs - if they think you used something they will turn you down.

You really should not be trying any anaesthetic yourself before you get something pierced. You could have a problem with it. Call the piercing shops around your house - some of them do offer to numb the area before they pierce it.

They do piercings also though. I’m just saying - that using an anaesthetic before you get pierced can cause problems since you do not know how you will react to it.

It’s not that bad - you really do not need them to numb it. You will be fine. If you want the piercing that bad - the pain is worth it and only last for a mintute. You may not be allergic to anything but you have to remember that anaesthetic is supposed to be used on the outside of the body - not internally and you are about to stick a needle through your skin where you are putting the gel. Also, if they find out you used it - they may not pierce you.
