how come many American houses are built with wood?
I mean why do they built houses with plasters n wood frames especially in areas where disasters usually occur..?
It’s generally the cheapest construction material, which is why it gets used a lot.
Wood is very cheap and it is the safest material by which no pollution is evident. When earthquakes occur then no much harm or damage is caused to mankind, so people prefer wood houses for pollution free home. Generally beauty is also one of the factor. Nature gifts or what we call as resource is really beauty for mankind. Wood has its beautiful texture and we love to see its beauty.
Just out of curiosity, what do they build houses with where you are from?
build w/ concrete walls.. usually used materials are bricks or hollow blocks
