What is an alternative for iceing on a german chocolate cake if you don't have coconut iceing?

  It wont be a german chocolate cake without the german chocolate icing. However, german chocolate cake is just another type of chocolate cake so really any icing can be used. Buttercream, cream cheese, strawberry, bannana, whipped, chocolate, it just depends on whatt flavor you would prefer.
