hhaahahha

Answer #9

The “ helpful answers” are because nobody actually believes that NO-ONE is “ allowed to sell knives in Scotland anymore”.

I have no doubt that kitchen cutlery is still sold regularly and working toots including knives regularly sold to relevant tradesmen.

Ok - I suspect that knives cannot be legally supplied to under 18’s, any more than alcohol, volatile glues, guns, or X rated films can. Fair enough in my opinion.

Answer #10

no today i went into a local hunting shop and they said that they are no longer allowed to sell hunting type knives and the reason i didnt put hunting knives in the question is i didn’t think anyone would assume i meant knives in general but …. yeh bit of an oversight.

E

Answer #11

Maybe the shop you went in had had a prohibition order slapped on them because of illegally selling knives to under 18 year olds.

Hunting Knives sill advertised for sale in Scotland:

Answer #13

i was about to say: walk round glasgow at kicking out time and youll know why lol

Answer #14

Nonsense! no one can stab through puffy wool coats :P

Answer #15

Good luck with it. I had not heard anything of any such recent developments,…..

However, in England at least, I am fairly certain that it has been illegal for retailers to sell knives to minors (under 18) for several years. You may need to produce proof of age (and I note from your profile that you are not yet 18) before they will sell - even if they are openly displayed and on sale.

Answer #16

yeh i think you have to be over 18 anywhere to get a knife :( but thats why god invented parents ;D

E

Answer #17

have you ever been to glasgow?

Answer #18

You can get decent knives off “Dodgy Mick” round the back of the “Drunken Piper” in Glasgow. £5-00 per inch on the blade, no questions asked, no change given.

Answer #19
