Algebra 1 help!!!

By what lcd (lowest common denominator) should each term in this equation be multiplied to eliminate the fractions? 6x/11 + 9/2 = 3

By what lcd (lowest common denominator) should each term in this equation be multiplied to eliminate the fractions? 8/9x + 2/3x = 1/9x + 45 and solve for the variable in this equation x???

Solve for the variable in this equation x/2 + 4/5 = 9/12 x=???

If you can be of any help plzzz help me with this homework that I truely don’t get ii have no clue on what to do with this algebra stuff thanx;)

Answer #3

QUESTION 1 6x/11 + 9/2 = 3

you look at the denominators and get factors, until you find a common factor

2= 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20,22,24,26,28 11 = 11,22,33,44,

LCD= 22

22(6x/11 + 9/2 = 3) lets do each one individually…

22 (6x/11) = 22 x 6x /11 = 132x /11 =12x

22 (9/2) = 22 x 9 /2 = 198/2 = 99

3 x 22 = 66

12x + 99 = 66 12x = 66-99 12x = -33 x = -33/12 lets reduce this… common factors… (you can do a tree)

33 = 3,11 12 = 2,3,4,6 common = 3 33/3 = 11 12/3 = 4

-11/4 x = -11/4

Answer #4

lol… you want me to do all your homework for you?

8/9x + 2/3x = 1/9x + 45

3=3,6,9 9 = 9,18,27

LCD = 9

so multiply the whole thing by 9

x/2 + 4/5 = 9/12

2 = 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20,22,24,26,28,30,32,34,36,38,40,42,44,46,48,50,52,54,56,58,60,62,64,68 5 = 5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50,55,60,65,70 12 = 12,24,36,48,60,72

LCD = 60
