Advice on Russian hamster

I have a Russian hamster and she’s got a tumor on the lower side of her chest, almost on her stomach. I don’t want her to get surgery because hamsters die on the operating table. Can she still live comfortable with the tumor? Is she in any pain? She is bright and alert and eat well. It does not look like it is bothering her. Please any advice? Charmaine

first of all, make sure its a tumar. and second its not 100 % sure that she will die while in operatian, but chances are high. I have two hamsters and ones prego but im not sure and I just posted a question actually! sry, but anyway, she will not live happily, its a tumor!!! would you like to have a giant tumor on you until you keeled over and died? niether would your hamster. if I were you I would at least try to get the tumor out, BY A DOCTOR!!! not my self… if she has a tumor, she could have sezures!! I used to have sezures when I was little. I would black out but I was still mobile I just coulnt feel my self fall, I coulndt hear myself scream, and I coulndt get any help, cus my mother was out side smoking… unable to hear anything that was going on… any way, sry for your hamster and go to a damn vet woman, dont let it sufer!!!
