Advice about a friend

Alright so I was talking to my friend on msn and she was telling me how she loves emo music and stuff (which if that what she wants to listen to then alright) But she told me that she cuts her wrists and wants her life to end.

Before she either went offfline or blocked me she said promise not to tell anyone and I didn’t exactly say I wouldn’t but I donno if I should. This doesn;t seem like her and all so I donno if its true or not but in a way I know I should tell someone but what if its a lie and she gets really mad @ me? please help :S

since she said she wants to kill herself, you should tell someone or at least talk to her about it

I don’t care whether it’s attention seeking or not - you ALWAYS take threats like this seriously.

You need to tell someone - if this is a girl you go to school with, bring it to the attention of a counsellor.

I’m sure you’d rather her be angry than dead.
