What is an acceptable amount to donate for charity?

My sister is doing the Terry Fox run in honour of our 6year old nephew who just passed away from cancer (I can’t because of ripped Achilles Tendants and I am in a cast), and I would really like to donate… I am just wondering how much is like the minimum amount that I can donate that will not make me seem like I don’t care enough?

you can put whatever you want but if i was you i would but $50000000

I think that any amount is acceptable and appreciated. The amount that you should donate, however, should reflect how much you can afford to give. Some people donate $10, some do $20, others do more. I think that either amount is okay, honestly, because every little bit helps.

Remember that even if you do not give a massive donation right now, you could always choose to donate again later down the road. Donating, regardless of how much you donate, still shows you care either way.

However much you feel suitable… its your gift, you shouldn’t have to give any set amount :)
