About the advice bots.

Just curious if they have some kind of AI thing that allows them to post comments or questions? Yeah I am kind of dumb when it comes to computers so I dont know its just that some of their comments and question seem so odd. Or do the admins get bored or something and place random questions throughout the site for #@%! and giggles?

ah, ok thanks just wanted to make sure if I were to respond I wouldnt look like a moron talking to an inanimate object.

yeah, the bot isn’t actually asking the question, or making the comment.. whenever a normal user like you or me wants their own personal question or answer to be anonymous, it gets listed under the bots username. get it?

no they are anonomous questions, like people make them anonomous for what ever reason…its called the funadvice bot or something like that it could either be a user called fau or funadvice!!

“fau” is the account where all questions and answers that have been marked as anonymous by members get placed.

“funadvice” is the account where all questions and answers go when a member’s account is terminated by Admin but the questions are allowed to remain on site. (I’m not sure if a member deletes his account himself as to whether his questions and answers also go to the “funadvice” account, but I think they do.)
